This experimental short film explores the concept of liminality — the state of being between two phases. Inspired by anthropologist Arnold van Gennep’s theory of “rites of passage,” it focuses on the transitional moments where one has left the old behind but not yet arrived in the new.

Through contrasting liminal spaces and situations, the film evokes the ambiguity and disorientation of these threshold states. Abstract visuals and sound design create a dreamlike atmosphere, immersing viewers in the feeling of being in between.
