SENSE
SHIFT
Sense Shift is an interactive installation consisting of a cubic structure with reactive floor panels, projection surfaces and a four-point sound system. Sensors in the floor trigger the visitors' movements, creating an immersive experience with every interaction.
The visuals are projected onto two screens and create a seamless panorama that reacts generatively to movement patterns, while a quadraphonic sound system sends dynamic “sound objects” through the space that follow or interact with the visitors.
The project completed as part of the degree program. Currently Lukas Schwartau and Gabriel Kleber (sound artist) are working on a refined version of the project.
