The designer Lukas Schwartau was born in Berlin in 1997.
After finishing high school, he completed an apprenticeship as
a carpenter. Alongside building furniture, he initially worked in graphic design and video production.
In 2019, he moved to Basel, Switzerland. While working as a carpenter, he took on various graphic design and corporate identity projects, which eventually led him to study Visual Communication at the University of Art and Design in Basel.
During his studies, he developed an interest in programming, spatial design, and interactive experiences.

In 2019, he moved to Basel, Switzerland. While working as a carpenter, he took on various graphic design and corporate identity projects, which eventually led him to study Visual Communication at the University of Art and Design in Basel.
During his studies, he developed an interest in programming, spatial design, and interactive experiences.
As part of his academic journey, he co-founded PUSH,
a lecture and event series at HGK Basel aimed at fostering exchange among young graphic designers – created by students, for students.
In addition, Lukas Schwartau serves as a designer and project manager for the concept and construction of a stage at the 3000 Grad music festival.
His graduation project I.C.U. was exhibited at the Alliance Graphique Internationale 2024 in Basel.
